Some of my favorite places. . . .

Giddy!  Foxmonkey. Her name will forever be entwined with Chasez Lake, but you'll be missing Fox at her best if you don't read Beauty. Queen. and YellaYou'll feel like you were there when it happened, that it really did happen. The stories are that good.

The Ghetto Kaelie. Home to one of my favorite stories ever, Pine and to one of the most incredible AU's I've ever read. If I didn't like her so much, I would hate her. So, so talented. Go ahead. Read Beneath an Eastern Moon and Descent again. I'll get over it.

I Will Not Be Afraid of Boybands. Jae. I'm a sucker for a great setting and Jae really delivers in The Last Place. She also gave us Sleeping Beauty and Remember, but of course you already knew that. And if you didn't, then shame on you. Really.

Experiment V   Rhys. One of the most prolific and talented writers in the fandom. It's hard to pick just one, but check out Bound To Happen. Oh, and Dirty Numb Angel Boy, How To Disappear Completely, and Irreplaceable. Like I said, way too hard to pick just one.

Just For Fun Topaz. So much good stuff here, it's hard to stick just with the sparkly boys, but start with Closeout and then just indulge your every whim.

Suitable for Framing  Sandy. 132 stories later, I'm still amazed. Read When the Stars Go Blue first, then Free Man in Paris. And check out her recs page. Don't say I never gave you anything.

Lost Ones Aylex. The picture on the masthead is of Justin, but I have it on good authority that JC has nothing to worry about here. This is old school *NSYN at its best. Read either Ride or Sk8ter Boi. Then read Everything and The Faerie King . I'll warn you now that they're both WsIP, but it won't matter. Just read and enjoy. nd of course, Just An Old Sweet Song. It's the kind of story I hope to write myself someday.

Gale. Only a few stories reach sacred cow status and one of them is here. If you haven't read Dodgy, go stand in the corner until I say you can come out. Then if you're good, I'll let read Bindings an awesome AU that you won't soon forget.

Waxworld WaxJism. A great writer with a twisted mind. Get out your Carlos Castaneda Primer and dig into Desert. Then read Vicarious. It won't put you back on the main road, but at least you'll recognize some of the sign posts.
